Back home
I finally got back home (Oulu, that is, still having hard time thinking of this as home)
after spending a night at the airport, first half of the day flying and the second half in a train. It feels good to be at home, having a constantly working warm shower, a good kitchen
and all my familiar stuff around.

Still, it was 20+C in Portugal, it's <10C here. Can't avoid thinking about how nice it would be to be there, sitting at the Bar de Praia, having a cheap breakfast reading a book and sunbathing (or sitting in the shade, depending on the cloud cover, sunburns and my mood in general). Seems that I will have to accept that the winter is coming here earlier than I'm accustomed to, and that I'll need to adjust my clothing accordingly.

One big downside to that trip was that I now have a open wound in my big toe, and cannot go climbing, which always cheers me up - even with the autumn evenings getting colder every day.
First time in a long while that I feel depressed about the autumn. I'm definitely made for warmer climate.
